Rescue Me ID: 17-06-23-00140Lucy (female)

Jack Russell    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Lucy is a gentle, cuddly 13 year old grand dame. I am fostering her short term. She was with previous owner until the birth of two children changed her family's priorities drastically. She integrated without a hitch into a three dog household consisting of one English Shepard, one Flat Coated Retriever and one Long Haired Dachshund. She is fantastic around infants, babies, toddlers, tweens teens, young adults, adults, senoirs etc. She is very territorial around the dog bowls, so segregated feeding I found neccessary. Her original owners could no longer give the proper love and attention she deserves due to the birth of a second child as well ... (Read More)as a two year old. Lucy NEVER EVER bit, attacked, scratched, maimed hurt in anyway either of these children, or any children for that matter. She is a loveable, peaceful dog with much love. life yet to give. She currently resides with a full house consisting of a husband, wife, 4 children (11,12,13 and 14 year olds) and three dogs as mentioned before. Lucy has colitis. which limits her diet to soft foods. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-06-08-00054Sparky COME MEET ME! (male)

Jack Russell Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

We found Sparky a year ago living on the end of a chain in South Carolina and when his family moved, they just left him there. Luckily the neighbors took him in and gave him to us. He is such a sweet little boy and is a cuddle bug for sure. He loves to run around and play but he also thinks it's really cool to watch TV from the couch in the evenings, preferably on your lap. Sparky was adopted a year ago and lives in Massachusetts right now, but due to unforeseen hardships, his family sadly has to find him a new home. Sparky gets along with other dogs and is great with anyone. In fact, if whoever throws something so he can fetch it will ... (Read More)surely be his new best friend. A home without small children that could accidentally let him out when they open the door would be best. His new home must have a fully fenced in yard as he has not mastered 'come' and like all dogs, needs basic training. He only weighs about 20 lbs and is about 2 - 3 years old so he is the perfect size. He loves riding in a car! This little boy needs a new loving FOREVER home, could that be you? Please copy and paste this link to your web browser to fill out our online application, http://members.petfinder.com/~CT243/sampleform.html. Sparky has been neutered, microchipped, wormed and is up to date on shots. All he needs is YOU! His adoption fee is $200. We cannot be certain what his true mix is.COME MEET SPARKY! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-03-03-00112Billy (male)

Jack Russell Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Meet Billy! He is a 2-3 year old dachshund mix and weighs about 25 lbs. He's a sweet boy and gets super attached, quickly. He's very energetic and jumps really high! He's a friendly dog who loves his belly and chest rubbed and he loves to sit on laps, rest his head on your chest and just stare at you. He gets along with other dogs but can get testy with some. He also does not like to be tugged on and especially takes exception to having his collar tugged at. With this in mind, we do not feel that he will do well in a home with small children. Also, with his high energy, he needs someone that is going to bring him to parks or go for ... (Read More)active walks. Lastly, he is not completely house trained and although he was neutered, he's still having issues with marking. He is working on that in his foster home and a belly band will help as well.     Hi! My name is Minnie and I'm a 10-year-old Terrier mix and weigh about 20 lbs. Despite having a tough start on life, I still love everybody!
