|Rescue Me ID: 15-06-23-00328Doodle Bug SPONSORED (female)|
Little Doodles was found lying in a street taking a nap. When a lady tried to holler for her she just laid there. The lady got close and yelled and little Doodle Bug still couldn't hear her. She then picked her up and went around trying to find her owner. When found, the owner said 'you can take her'. This little precious dog may not hear well but makes up for it in love, hugs and kisses. She is the most loving little girl and when she had her own bed to lay in, she slept for 12 hours straight. She loves everyone and other dogs and will make the most wonderful companion for any age. She is about two years old, maybe a little younger. A wonderful lady paid a portion of her adoption fee after she met, and fell in love with her. (Less)

|Animal ID: 15-05-11-00226Jenny (female)|
**URGENT** Jenny is a 5 y/o F JR with Very High Energy. She is very loving, loves to play (epically with her toys),loves to run and explore. She gets along with other male dogs, however she has a tendency to be jealous of other female dogs. She climbs a 4ft fence (has not been tried in a 6ft or privacy), however she will come back and climb back into the yard. She is crate and paper trained. She has never been around cats or children. She is spayed and up to date only on her rabies. My father passed away 10/26/2014, my parents were married 50 years and my mother is struggling with her grief and her health. My parents had three acres and loved their animals. They had two goats (dad's best buddies), dozens of ducks and three dogs. When my father was diagnosed in April 2014 and given six months to live, they had to quickly find homes for the goats and ducks. Dad was to weak and no longer able to take care of the animals. They did in fact find a loving home, that not only took the goats, but the ducks as well. However at the time, they tried to keep the dogs. When dad passed away, it became a struggle for mom to keep up with all three dogs. The other two dogs are Bassett hounds, and we are currently looking for a loving home for one of them as well. We have been trying to find Jenny a home, since my father passed away 6 1/2 months ago. (Less)

Jack Russell Dogs can make good pets in Kentucky if they match your IifestyIe. The Jack Russell Terrier is a witty, highly intelligent and trainable working dog. Jack Russells are cheeky, entertaining pets. Jack Russells do well with considerate children but do not like to be teased. Jack Russells need a dominant owner experienced in firm obedience training. The Jack Russell Terrier has strong hunting instincts and should not be trusted with small animals. This scrappy Terrier may fight with dogs with which he is not socialized from an early age. Jack Russells can live in an apartment but need plenty of exercise and do best with a yard. Jack Russells can climb and dig under fences, and need to be kept on a leash when walking.
