Jack Russell Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Happy girl Mia is just 18 months old. She loves being out in the country, but wants to be inside with her family when it's time for bed. She was busy all day long exploring and playing tag with the other dogs in her foster home. Unfortunately for Mia her former owners run a wildlife preserve and she seemed to think that chasing all the deer, turkeys and ducks was her main job. Mia has a loving nature and would be the perfect companion for family that lives in a rural area. She needs plenty of room to run and work. Mia is enrolled in the 12-week Death Row Dogs Program at Green River Correctional Complex. She will graduate 10/15.

Cricket is a wonderful girl! She came to our rescue from a shelter as was about to be put to sleep simply because no one had yet to discover how wonderful she is! Thankfully, the shelter staff knew, and now we have this girl resting comfortably in foster care. She currently lives with two pitbull dog siblings, and two children (5&7) and exhibits no issues with either. She does prefer gently play to rough housing with other dogs, however. She is approximately 6 years old and is housebroken. She also knows basic commands. Please give this girl a chance! She's a snuggle bug.

Tony is a very sweet Jack Russell, but would be much better suited to a family with no small children. We adopted him at 3yo and have had him three years. He would do wonderful with a single person or older couple where he could be the center of attention. He's become very attached to me, the mom, and tries to separate me from my children.

FOR ADOPTION: This is a male, Jack Russell mix. He is vetted, neutered and about 2 years 6 months old. He's a small - medium size at 18 pounds. He's your typical terrier with energy and happiness. Jack is very comfortable with women but is reserved when first meeting men. He loves being petted and belly rubs. He has nipped at a man when under a stressful situation. It is this reason that we recommend a household with OLDER children for JACK. JACK is in a smaller community shelter with little chance of adoption straight from the shelter. He is very people friendly and just needs to be out of the stressful shelter environment. We ...
