Rescue Me ID: 17-12-17-00118Boomer (male)

Jack Russell Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adult Men Only
Personality: Very High Energy, Very Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Aggressive, Fearful/Anxious

Boomer is a great dog, and has been to Loyal Canines Boot Camp. For some reason, he shows random acts of aggression. Trainers feel that he would be best with a Single handler without children. Loves to play fetch, and be outdoors. He is very lovable. We have had him 2 + years, and he will turn 3 in March 2018. He has all current vaccines. He is house trained, and can be a wonderful companion. He does need a handler willing to put in the work required to overcome the aggression however. He has bitten recently, and in the past. Professional Trainers do feel he can be rehabilitated. A great dog for the right Owner. I am very saddened to have to ... (Read More)put him up for adoption. You will love Boomer. (Less)

Jack Russell Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adult Women Only
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered

Meet Boston! He's sweet, silly and a little bit shy! He's about 3-4 years old, weighs about 25 pounds and is some sort of JRT mix. His current owners just had a new baby and this seems to be making Boston anxious and uncomfortable. Wanting what's in his best interest, Boston's family is looking to rehome him to a more suitable environment-one without children. He's great with other dogs and has even been know to snuggle with the cat! He loves belly rubs and will sit and wave for treats! *Currently available for adoption in Uxbridge, MA*
