Rescue Me ID: 16-06-23-00183Sammy (male)

Jack Russell    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Very High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Sammy loves to play fetch, go on long walks, go swimming in the lake, and cuddle in the evening. He is great with adults and kids who have been invited in the home but is territorial when strangers approach. We also have 3 other dogs in the home. Sammy is dominant with 2 of them, and submissive with one, but they all get along very well. We are not allowed to have fences where we live so Sammy uses an invisible fence. Due to his territorial nature, a fence is necessary for him. He has a lot of energy and needs to go on walks daily. Sammy is completely up-to-date on all his shots, has a microchip, and is neutered. We feel that a family ... (Read More)with a fence and that has the time to take him for daily walks/runs will better fit his needs. Message me if you think you Sammy seems like a good fit for you.     What we don't know about Ivy: her breed. Lemon Beagle? Greyhound? Jack Russell? Mountain feist? Pointer? Basenji? Any or all of the above are possibilities. What we DO know about Ivy is that she's a smart, sweet, cuddly, affectionate, well behaved, housebroken girl, who is a little shy at first. She warms up quickly and gets along with dogs, cats, and kids. She will need supervision for potty breaks because this little girl can jump high! Her jumping ability and inclination would be perfect to channel into a hobby like dock diving (unsure if she likes swimming) or as a disc dog. Adoption application, home and vet check required.
