DESPERATE FOR FOSTER HOMES - 2 TO 3 WEEKS Please help this little guy by committing to foster him for approx 2-3 wks, during which time he will receive another set of vaccines, neuter surgery and we will have assessment done for his eye to determine the cause of the injury... and if it needs to be removed. After vetting and assessment, he will be available for adoption. He is very sweet and friendly, and loves other dogs so a playmate in the home would be ideal. During foster, k9rr will provide all food and supplies.

|Rescue Me ID: 17-06-13-00441Sam (male)|
* Please apply online at www.6dogrees.com by doing so you will get a response quicker. Meet Sam! I am an 18-month old terrier mix and 8-pounds of energy! I am a neutered, current on all vaccinations, and ready to conquer the world! My adoption fee is $595. I am a very happy dog. I am a little unsure around men but with patience and time I know that this can definitely be overcome.I came from a home that thought I had too much energy - I say, 'Phooey - that is typical terrier!' I am entertaining and will put a smile on your face. I like to follow my people around like a shadow, and then speed like lightening through the house and make you giggle As I am still a young dog, I should attend puppy classes with you. This will create a bond for us, and also ensure that I have manners to make you proud.I will require a fully fenced yard. I am curious, and this is all new to me. Fences help protect me and establish boundaries. I am being fostered with dogs my size, and would love a home that has a dog that needs a friend - this will ensure that I have enough exercise to burn off my excessive energy. I will need a grain-free diet to keep me healthy and my coat beautiful. I have a straight wiry coat that will need to be brushed occasionally, and grooming every 6 to 8 weeks to keep me adorable. I am pretty much a 'wash and wear' dog. Sam is a rescue dog, and rescue dogs require routine and stability. Please be prepared for a lifelong commitment before applying. Ideally, Sam should be pottied every 4 to 5 hours. Dogs cannot be left alone for 8 hours per day. Home check and plan must be carefully thought out and presented at time of interview. Applications accepted online at 6dogrees.com. The adoption fee is $575. My adoption fee will go to save other dogs at the high-kill shelters in California and is fully tax deduction (my Rescue, 6dogrees Rescue is a 501c3), and will provide a donation receipt. I am fostered North of Seattle, and if interested please submit an online adoption application at www.6dogrees.com and we will review and get back to you promptly. An adoption application must be filled out for all inquiries and prior to a meet and greet. We will review and respond to applications, not all applications will necessarily be approved for a meet and greet. Home check prior to adoption approval. Adoption fee include: Neuter or spay, microchip, current vaccines (DA2PP, rabies, bordatella) de-worming, flea treatment, and heart worm testing. We also include a 15 minute training consultation with a certified behaviorist trainer and 30-day pet insurance. 6dogrees Rescue is a small passionate Seattle based 501c3 non-profit charitable organization that focuses on saving the lives of urgent dogs on their last hours at high kill shelters from the state of California where pet overpopulation is at epidemic levels and kill shelters are the norm. 100% of all fees collected are spent on the dogs, we 'Save it forward'; so each time a dog is adopted we are allowed to save another. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and are in place to allow thorough care for the dogs. 6dogrees adoptions are limited to residents of Washington State. (Less)

ADOPTION APP: www.aberdeenstr.com ***MUST SUBMIT APP before we will respond to inquiries. Completion of app does not guarantee adoption. NOTE: We are not a shelter, and all of our dogs are in foster homes across WA. Please follow our process and submit an app to be considered to adopt and meet one of our dogs. Thanks for your cooperation!*** Name: Buck. Age:10 yrs. Breed:Jack Russell Terrier Mix. Weight:16.2 lbs. Sex:Male. Spayed/Neutered:Yes. Shots Up to Date: Yes. Microchipped: Yes. Good with Dogs?Yes. Good with Cats? Unknown. Good with Kids? Unknown. Adoption Fee: $450. About Buck: Buck is roughly 10 years old and about 16.2 lbs. He is so super sweet! He loves being around people! Especially men! He loves to play and going for long walks! He is also great with kids good around other dogs. We are have not had him around cats so we are not sure how he is with them. He is a runner though and needs to go to a home with a fenced yard. Buck is an absolute love and is looking for his new family. Adoption fee $450. Buck's History: Buck needed out of the shelter after his owner dropped him off with his food, treats and a weird hard plastic ball that was a mangled mess from chewing His dad said he dropped him off because he was a runner and he kept getting out and he didn't want to have to deal with that anymore. Apparently there's a little more to this boy's story than his dad shared. This sweet guy has a scar wrapped twice around his leg and a huge scar on his face as well as what appears to be several bite marks. We may never know what this sweet boy's past looked like but we can certainly assure him that his future will be filled with nothing but love! Buck's Medical: He needed an extremely expensive dental which we got for him, he needed his canines removed and several other teeth. In the end, they pulled a total of 7 teeth, most likely due to his chewing the plastic ball out of sheer boredom! WE ARE NOT A SHELTER. WE ARE VOLUNTEERS WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Do not contact us to come look at a dog. We will contact you once we've received and reviewed your completed application. Thanks for your patience and cooperation! (Less)

Jack Russell Dogs can make good pets in Washington if they match your IifestyIe. The Jack Russell Terrier is a witty, highly intelligent and trainable working dog. Jack Russells are cheeky, entertaining pets. Jack Russells do well with considerate children but do not like to be teased. Jack Russells need a dominant owner experienced in firm obedience training. The Jack Russell Terrier has strong hunting instincts and should not be trusted with small animals. This scrappy Terrier may fight with dogs with which he is not socialized from an early age. Jack Russells can live in an apartment but need plenty of exercise and do best with a yard. Jack Russells can climb and dig under fences, and need to be kept on a leash when walking.
