Rescue Me ID: 17-11-18-00023TIM (male)

Jack Russell Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Tim is a wonderful little guy, but probably would do best in a single family home, not an apartment. He is neutered, house trained, crate trained, walks on a leash and is very good company! Likes to snuggle under the comforter on the couch and watch tv! He is a little too 'yappy' for an apartment, but is comfortable in the country, preferring to spend most of his time in the house of course. Tim is too small to be left out alone for any length of time, weighing about 8 pounds. If you would like to meet this little sweetie, please contact me!!

Rescue Me ID: 17-09-27-00456Quila (female)

Jack Russell Mix    Age: Young Adult

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Quila, short for Tequila Rose, is an affectionate and outgoing girl who is eager to make friends. She loves to play, run, and explore. Quila is housetrained. She is picky about her doggy friends and will need to meet any resident dogs prior to adoption. She will also need a home without cats. Quila loves to play with kids. She is about 3 years old and weighs about 14 lbs. We were told Quila is a chihuahua/spaniel mix, but she looks and acts more like a Jack Russell terrier. Quila is spayed, microchipped, wormed, and current on routine, bordatella, and rabies vaccinations. Her adoption donation is $300. Wonder Pets Rescue is a 501c3 ... Rescue Me ID: 17-09-12-00298Lizzie (female)

Jack Russell Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Most Cats
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

YES, I'M AVAILABLE! Adoption application at www.aberdeenstr.com ***MUST SUBMIT APP before we will respond to email or phone inquiries. Thanks for your cooperation!****** Lizzie is a sweet poodle/terrier mix with so much love to give! She is 5 years old and was in a high kill shelter where she had run out of time and needed to be saved. It was clear that Lizzie just had puppies recently, where her puppies were we did not know, but we did know she had been in the shelter for a very long time. We got her out of the shelter and little Lizzie was so very sick with pneumonia. She spent 11-14 days in the hospital, she was treated with multiple ... (Read More)antibiotics, daily breathing treatments, and x-ray's to constantly check on her health. It was then discovered that she has a grade 3 out of 6 heart murmur. She was treated for skin allergies and she may need a dental later on. Unfortunately, the recovery time for pneumonia is 2 months and she cannot undergo anesthesia for 6 months no matter what the reason, unless it is to save her life. If she did, it could trigger pneumonia again, so the dental will have to wait. Lizzie is so loving and playful, loves playing with other dogs, and she is a super high jumper. She will need a home that will be willing to make sure she gets exercise each day. She loves walks and does well on a leash. Lizzie is super affectionate. She gives kisses and loves to cuddle. Shec always wants to be with her people. Lizzie would do best in a home with other dogs present and where people are home during the day. She gets along best with submissive male dogs. Lizzie hasn't had any accidents in her foster home, but may need work on house training in a new environment. Lizzie has an adoption fee of $500 __________________________ **IMPORTANT DETAILS - PLEASE READ** An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to pay our current medical bills for our dogs as well as any future dogs we rescue as well. As an adopter, you must be prepared to accept the fact that these dogs are rescues and, just like you and I, they all have their own individual personalities. In most cases, these little ones have been through a difficult journey that started when their family gave them up or they became lost. They may have been under stress, neglected or even abused in their past life or frightened by being left alone on the streets to fend for themselves. Our number one focus is finding these little loves a wonderful forever home with a family who is going to care for them and show them what it is like to be loved, a safe environment, a full belly and a warm bed. These sweet babies do not ask for much from you but they may require a little patience and understanding. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to come look at a dog. We will contact you once we have received and reviewed your completed application. A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet can be scheduled. Thank you for your patience and cooperation. (Less)
