Rescue Me ID: 14-07-23-00052MOLLY (female)

Jack Russell Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Molly appears to be a jack russell terrier and perhaps corgi mix. She is approximately one year old, spayed and UTD on all shots. She obviously came from a home because of the way she behaves. She is housebroken, is loving and loves to be loved. She is good with other dogs large and small and sleeps with the foster's dogs in a heap! She is also non-reactive with cats. She loves children and enjoys her playtime with adults. children and other dogs. She is a small/medium sized dog and weighs 26 lbs. She does not appear to bark and likes to stay in close proximity of her human(s). She is adorable to look at and her freckled tummy will ... (Read More)makes you laugh. Although she is active, she is not overly hyper and enjoys chilling out with her humans and dog friends. A wonderful companion for all ages! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-07-20-00174Ryker (male)

Jack Russell    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Ryker is a sweet heart who just wants to cuddle. He's not big on being petted but just wants someone to snuggle all day long. Even though his breed is high energy, it really only shows when you walk through the door. He sleeps more than any dog I've ever met! He has separation anxiety which is why he's he re-do find a good home that had the time for him that he needs. I am not a good home for him as of late and it's just heartbreaking. He likes boat rides and tennis balls. He likes to look out windows of all sorts and he'll even lock you out of your car if you leave the keys in the ignition. He sleeps in bed and will keep you toasty warm ... (Read More)in the winter as he produces heat like no tomorrow. He has been contained in an average size back yard for the past 6 years (if left inside, he tends to do things like eat blinds...) Lately he has been getting out of the yard and I can't stand kenneling him for 10-12hrs a day while I'm at work. He knows tricks and is very smart. He can jump like Michael Jordan. His leash manners need improvement but only because he's been running free most of our time together. He needs a good home. He likes kids but be weary of other animals. He has hung around with many large breeds but around some small breeds similar to his size he becomes quite aggressive. He needs a yard to run all that energy out in. He hates being wet and won't even swim so a dog house and a heated dog bed have always been available to him. He also tends to be drawn to females and loves their companionship. (Less)

Jack Russell    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Lucky is a high-energy dog that would do best in a home without small children. He's a bit on the fearful side, and children make him very nervous. He's neutered, current on his vaccinations and microchipped.

Jack Russell Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Yoda is an amazing little boy. Saved on the last day of his life from high-kill shelter in San Bernardino, CA, he has been with me for nearly three months and ready to go to a loving home. He loves his human. He was abused by a man as he barks at men but loves, loves, loves women. He just wants to sit in your lap and give you kisses - really! He likes to play with other dogs but his focus is on his human. He cuddles up and sleeps next to my head every night. He is NOT an outdoor dog. He loves to go for car rides. He is somewhat house trained but will need additional help in that area. Other than that, he wants to be with his human 24/7. Only ... (Read More)high energy if he is playing with another dog. Otherwise, he is happy to lay next to you or follow you around - he weighs in at 14 lbs and is 3 years old. A wonderful companion for a woman. Truly! I am so happy I was able to save his life. He is a happy boy as long as he is with his human. (Less)

Animal ID: 156918482Alex (male)

Jack Russell    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Very Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Aggressive

Alex is in need of a new home. He is a healthy very energetic 10 year old pure bred male Jack Russell Terrier with many years of life left. He is a long leg, smooth coat, tri-color Jack and weighs 16 lbs. He is very friendly with people and loves lots of attention. Because he has some aggression issues, he would not be suited in a home with children or other animals. He is very smart, beautiful, and loving but needs more exercise and attention than I can give him. I believe he would do very well in a home that could provide this. This is a very difficult decision for me to make as I have had him since he was a puppy. I will miss him very ... (Read More)much, but have no other option. (Less)
