SPECIAL NEEDS (BONDED PAIR) We are Hunter & Lucy. We are a bonded pair. Hunter says: 'Woof! I am Medium Tan Adult Male Pit Bull. I am nearing 3 years old. I have an excellent temperment. I am a great snuggle buddy and can be somewhat of a couch potato. I love laying around and relaxing and I enjoy kicking back in front of the fireplace. I have lived in a long-term home with other dogs and cats, however sometimes I tend to get excited and play hard. I am not aggressive, but I am not aware of my own strength or size. (I'm kind of a big deal like Superman. Do these photos make my butt look big?) I tend to get very exuberant and happy in ... (Read More)the company of multiple people or animals and my playful demeanor might overwhelm tiny pets, very young children or seniors without intending to. For these reasons, it is best that I be in a home with no small pets (other than my best furever friend Lucy) and where my playtime with those not steady on their feet can be responsibly monitored. I sometimes have a tendency to chew up dog beds if not properly stimulated. I also misbehave with shoes if given the opportunity, so please put those away. I am afraid of lawn mowers, weed eaters and the vacuum cleaner. I am very smart and will do anything to please you. I love puzzle games like "Find The Treat". I get along with every dog unless I feel dominated. I will retreat at first, but I will only tolerate being bullied for so long, so if this should happen please remove me from the situation. Lucy is my best furever friend and I am very gentle with her. I do get along with cats, however again I get excited and they may not enjoy my high energy play.' Lucy says, 'Yap Yap! I am Lucy! I am a Tri-Color Adult Female Jack Russell Terrier. I am almost 4 years old now! I am energetic but not overhwhelmingly so. I am very affectionate and cuddly. I love to sleep under the covers. I love to boss my best furever friend Hunter around! I can be very stubborn. Hunter is very tolerant with me and tolerates everything I dish out to him. I get along with cats and other dogs.' The adoption fee for a bonded pair of dogs is $250 and that includes: 'ۢ veterinarian examination 'ۢ current vaccines 'ۢ current flea, intestinal parasite, and heartworm prevention 'ۢ spay/neuter 'ۢ a microchip for identification if ever lost or stolen 'ۢ current heartworm test For more information on this pet, please visit our website, or search for us on In order to adopt, fill out the adoption application from our website or email us at and we'll send you an application!
