Rescue Me ID: 17-03-06-00066Bruno (male)
[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] This is Bruno, a energetic 7 year old beagle mix.very loving with kids and adults and protective over them. Love being outside but if loose likes to run. Would do best in a country setting with room to roam.has never been in a setting where there was another dog but doesn't like them when they walk by the house so unsure how he would do with another one in the house. Like to play catch and knows some commands (sit, lay, shake).

Rescue Me ID: 17-01-28-00192Wally & Molly
Wally and Molly are about 7 and 8 year old - bonded, JRT's. They Must be taken together. My family inherited these two a couple years ago from a terminal family member. Unfortunately, they have not been very socialized with children - and Wally doesn't care for kids very much, especially energetic boys. That being said, they are both great dogs for adults. They are true JRT's and love to hunt, so a fenced yard or watchful eye is necessary. They love going on walks, in the car and cuddling on the couch or on the bed, if you let them! Both are house trained and spayed/neutered. They aren't crazy energetic, but still love to run around outside or play inside at times. Molly is a little submissive at times, and a soft voice is all that is needed with her. Wally is slow to trust, but will the most loyal dog if you let him. Wally liked to chase cars at his previous home and has the injury to show it. His left front leg was hit, but still remains. He uses it when running or walking, but will also walked on three legs. |Rescue Me ID: 16-11-26-00177 (female)|
Cleo came to me 3 years ago. She picked me and my children. Well as they got older she liked them less and less. Now my sons can't come out of their room without her attacking them. She gets along with my other dogs. A lab and 2 pit bulls. She loves to curl up on the couch and snuggle with her momma. The best fit would be a Home with an older woman. Any questions please call. Im asking a $50 rehoming fee to ensure she goes to a good home

Rescue Me ID: 16-11-13-00147MaryBelle& Rally (female)
Rally and Mary Belle, started their life off in a puppy mill. They were caged together and supposed to be breeders until they could no longer produce and then dumped in a high kill shelter. They were rescued and are a bonded pair that must be adopted together. They are 6 years old and have come a long way since they were released from the mill. But they are still working on their house breaking skills and getting used to trusting humans. Rally does have some fear of men but once he builds trust he is sweet and loving. They both love to cuddle and will need an understanding adopter to help them finish their transition from puppy mill to love, a warm bed and a yard to run in. Please consider adopting a puppy mill survivor, you won't be sorry. For more information please call, Paula at 815 978-0059. Or email Paula at PAULA.OIJ@genmills.com. (Less)
Rescue Me ID: 16-11-10-00193Brownie (male)
[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] Brownie is almost 13 years old (13 on New Years Day). He is very loving , and sits on my lap and lays down with me when I nap. He loves to lay down in the sun and hates to go outdoors if it is raining with lightning or thunder. He hates loud noises. When the phone rings, he comes on my lap to investigate. If I have any snacks or food, he tries to come on my lap to get his share. He barks if anybody approaches our condo, but has never bitten anybody. He is lover, not a biter. I love him very much, but my wife has health problems that require that I send him out to rescue.

Rescue Me ID: 15-04-11-00164Shaney & Miley (female)
Before inquiring on Shaney and Miley, please note that we have a 100 mile radius adoption policy and we are located in New Richmond, WI. Please see our website for full details. www.ggohinc.com Shaney & Miley are mother and daughter and are very bonded; both have been residing at GGOH since 11/ 2009. These girls have been with GGOH since they were brought in from one of our rescue missions on a reservation in South Dakota. Shaney, Miley and Bandit (who has been adopted) were taken after they were found beaten, with broken jaws and multiple injuries. It was reported by persons on the reservation that Shaney and Bandit were trying to save their puppies (who all perished) who were being beaten by some children and in their attempts, they were hit with baseball bats, breaking their jaws and Shaney's ear. It was heartbreaking to know they had suffered so much but it was heartwarming to know we were there and could get them out safely. Shaney, Miley and Bandit came to GGOH where they had to learn to trust and understand the world was not always a scary painful place. Miley was Bandit and Shaney's daughter from a previous birth so mom and daughter rely on each other heavily. Both love to go for walks and are great on their leashes. Love to snuggle and just be with you. They will need some time to adjust to a new environment but will do great with an individual or a family, with older children, who will give them love and patience. They are ok with cats but do have some issues with other dogs as they are afraid of them sometimes due to their beginnings, running among the packs. We know they are special souls who just need understanding and a peaceful place to call 'home'. Red Heeler mixes; approx. 6 1/2 and 5 1/2 yrs old (as of December 2014). Please don't overlook these wonderful pups ~ we know you would be happy with them, if you just gave them the chance they deserve. Please visit our website (www.ggohinc.com) for further information on our Fencing and Indoor Living policies as well as information regarding our adoption process. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Jack Russell in Wisconsin
Jack Russell Dogs can make good pets in Wisconsin if they match your IifestyIe. The Jack Russell Terrier is a witty, highly intelligent and trainable working dog. Jack Russells are cheeky, entertaining pets. Jack Russells do well with considerate children but do not like to be teased. Jack Russells need a dominant owner experienced in firm obedience training. The Jack Russell Terrier has strong hunting instincts and should not be trusted with small animals. This scrappy Terrier may fight with dogs with which he is not socialized from an early age. Jack Russells can live in an apartment but need plenty of exercise and do best with a yard. Jack Russells can climb and dig under fences, and need to be kept on a leash when walking.
