Jack Russell Mix    Age: Adult

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Sugar is as sweet as pie to people that she knows and will protect you with her life. She is extremely loyal and very faithful to her owner. It does take a little time for her to warm up to a new person. She would be best in a calmer home that still loves walks and to play ball. She is 6 yrs old and about 11 lbs. Sugar is losing her home do to adult children moving back home with little kids which is way to much activity for Sugar it would make her to nervous. She would prefer to be the only pet because she wants to be the center of ... (Read More)attention. She is located in the Kenosha WI area. Her adoption fee is $250. Rescue Me ID: 17-05-21-00083Phoenix (male)

Jack Russell Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hello! My name is Phoenix! I am being surrendered by my owner to a rescue group. I am a male shepherd mix and I was adopted when I was about 4 months old. I am now 4-5 years old and 46 lbs. At home I am the sweetest dog that you will ever meet, I love to cuddle, take naps and I will do anything to please my owners. I love going for walks and runs. However, I am a bit fearful and I am startled by loud, unfamiliar noises. I take a minute to warm up to strangers, especially men. I am neutered and current on all of my vaccinations. I have been boarded multiple times and do well with other dogs, but I am selective on my property. I have not been ... (Read More)around children or cats. I am being surrendered because I nipped a few people in the past. I spent time at a doggie 'boot camp' learning how to sit, stay, place, come, quiet and leave it. My owners would like to keep me and work with me but with their first child born they simply cannot give me the time that I need. At this point, the local humane society where I live has said that they would put me down if I am brought to them, so my parents found Paws and Tails Lifetime Companions to help me find my fur-ever home. If you are interested in me, please, visit Paws and Tails Lifetime Companions website to download an application: http://www.paws-and-tails-lifetime-companions.com/ You can download an application from the 'Re Home' page. You can also call Paws & Tails Lifetime Companions at (262) 622-2234 if you have any questions. Or you can e-mail us at: pawsandtlc@gmail.com Our re homing fee is $475 which partially helps to cover the rescue costs, transportation, all the shots including 5-in-1, Bordatella (Kennel Cough), rabies, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention, microchip and all vet exams. All my records are available. Thank you. (Less)

WILL YOU PLAY WITH ME? %A08 year old, 24 pound Baily is the most playful dog we have met. %A0He is totally into toys and playing with people and never seems to tire of having fun. %A0Baily is not an apartment pet but loves to be outside so a home with a fenced yard and a buddy to play with would be perfect for him. The buddy can be any age as long as they play. %A0Baily gets along with kids and other dogs but it is unknown how he would be with cats or other small animals. Rescue Me ID: 15-04-11-00164Shaney & Miley (female)

Jack Russell Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Before inquiring on Shaney and Miley, please note that we have a 100 mile radius adoption policy and we are located in New Richmond, WI. Please see our website for full details. www.ggohinc.com Shaney & Miley are mother and daughter and are very bonded; both have been residing at GGOH since 11/ 2009. These girls have been with GGOH since they were brought in from one of our rescue missions on a reservation in South Dakota. Shaney, Miley and Bandit (who has been adopted) were taken after they were found beaten, with broken jaws and multiple injuries. It was reported by persons on the reservation that Shaney and Bandit were trying to save ... (Read More)their puppies (who all perished) who were being beaten by some children and in their attempts, they were hit with baseball bats, breaking their jaws and Shaney's ear. It was heartbreaking to know they had suffered so much but it was heartwarming to know we were there and could get them out safely. Shaney, Miley and Bandit came to GGOH where they had to learn to trust and understand the world was not always a scary painful place. Miley was Bandit and Shaney's daughter from a previous birth so mom and daughter rely on each other heavily. Both love to go for walks and are great on their leashes. Love to snuggle and just be with you. They will need some time to adjust to a new environment but will do great with an individual or a family, with older children, who will give them love and patience. They are ok with cats but do have some issues with other dogs as they are afraid of them sometimes due to their beginnings, running among the packs. We know they are special souls who just need understanding and a peaceful place to call 'home'. Red Heeler mixes; approx. 6 1/2 and 5 1/2 yrs old (as of December 2014). Please don't overlook these wonderful pups ~ we know you would be happy with them, if you just gave them the chance they deserve. Please visit our website (www.ggohinc.com) for further information on our Fencing and Indoor Living policies as well as information regarding our adoption process. (Less)
